Early in my career I spent 7 years in facility and project management for a global manufacturing company. After that, I entered the non-profit industry and spent over 8 years with a focus on human services. This where I discovered my passion for serving others. In 2017, I moved my Father to Texas and into a "father-in-law" apartment attached to our home. My husband and I, along with a few others whom I now consider dear friends, cared for he and his daily needs. It was through that experience that I became aware of the struggle that our elders face in identifying and obtaining even the most basic assistance. Dad passed away in 2019, but during our time with him, and since his passing, we have cared for Mama.... across the miles. If you're like I was, you may have no idea where to start. One of the hard lessons I've learned is that many people are aware that they need something...but what? And if you're lucky enough to know the "what", the question becomes "where do I find it?"
